The whereabout of Mr. Nosa Endurance, the gay man accused of having carnal of another male youth has continued to remain unknown. In an interaction with our correspondent over the weekend, Alhaji Monsuru Alaga, the father of the young man that claims to have been forced into the illicit act, explained that all effort to locate Endurance since the incident happened in 2009 has not yielded any effort or result, despite the series of travel and visit made to Lagos from their Lokoja, Kogi state base. Alaga explain that he has had to go through a lot of pain and humilation, all in a bid to restore the honour and intergrity of his family. He added he has been compelled to come out in the open, so that Lagosians and other well meaning individuals can assist him. He said he was aware that the said Endurance was living and probably still lives in Lagos, because, when the incident happened in Lokoja, where they were living before, Endurance had regularly spoken of his extended family in Lagos, and how he would love to live in the big city. Alaga added that though he realizes that locating Endurance would be a Herculean task, considering his weak finances and inability to have a place to live in Lagos, he was determined to find the man that violated his son, introduced him into what he described as sinful, and fled to Lagos. "Yes, I know that Lagos is a very very big city, so for somebody of my age, and with this bad leg to insist that I want to do this, it means I want to do it. "Even if he run to the end of the world, he must surely come back and pay for his crime, although I am sure that by next week, when I have money to go the authorities, I will formally lay the complaint. It is to be recalled that 71 years old Alhaji Monsuru Alaga, who has been living according to him by the grace of God, is set to fish out the young man that he insisted violated his son, and also introduced him into a world that is sinful. When contacted, Mr. Luke Endurance who claimed to be the elder brother of the accussed, agreed that they were also looking for their brother. He displayed a photograph of Nosa saying “you see, we are also looking for him”.
