Despite having an excellent World Cup on an individual level in which Nigerian International, Kalu Uche was voted among the top 50 players in the World at Number 40 and the Third placed African behind the Ghanaian, Asamoah Gyan  who was placed number six, feelers suggest that with less than a week to the end of the transfer period in Europe the player still remains unsettled over his footballing future..

The latest in the Uche transfer drama according to our investigations is that  new boys in the Spanish top flight, Hercules Alicante are insisting that they will not pay more than two million Euros for the Nigerian Forward even though Almeria the Club that currently owns him as a player is insisting that the player cannot go for anything less in the region of at least four million Euros.

Though Almeria wants to allow him to leave they equally insists that they will not allow them selves to be forced to sell against their will as they wanted to recoup some money from then Uche deal due to his sterling performance at the mundial where he weighed in with two goals in a rather dull Super Eagles team that could not fly.

He has been heavily linked to Clubs like Al Rayyan , Fulham , Hull City ,Hercules Alicante  , Fenerbache , Trabzonspor ,Bursaspor, Galatasaray, Glasgow Rangers among others in recent weeks..
